English Project of the First Semester


Hello readers of my blog! 
 As because I am currently suffering from a mild flu and a very deep regret after I messed up my graph in the math remedial (Yes, it was a remedial) (yes it's math not maths I was raised Australian) so I decided to update my blog! So diligent. So for my English Project, I am writing about immigration which caught my attention after the contaversional Donald Trump speech that made lot's of latina/o's protest. But if there's no latina/o's who would make your tacos Mr. Trump? FYI, natives make the most delicious.

Back to the topic. I saw a research that stated in the next years there will be more immigrants than the white American population, so if the society still refuses to accept immigrants they shall be very doomed. (Not that doomed, but still) I also noticed that the Indonesian society has racism rooted very deeply in our cultures, so they also become hateful of the immigrants although they are in another country. Seeing how Aceh welcomed the Rohingya's openhandedly, if Indonesians are racists to immigrants in another part of the world, how would they react to the immigrants on their own turf?
So this article is fairly pointless, not well written and very short because I wrote it on my phone, but it pretty much sums up my project. So... Au Revoir!

    Racism is a nice topic. Why don't you start with the racism between the English and the Aboriginese? Australian... Haha, never mind. Besides the fact that math was written 'maths', the post was concise and pretty informative.

      Yes, I know it's a great topic. No, the racism in Australia is pretty subtle compared to in America. Yes it's maths. Americans...

Saat tanggal 6 kemarin, aku berkunjung ke rumah teman dekat orangtuaku, Tante Fridia. Tante Fridia ini juga kerap disebut sebagai Tante Kemprit oleh beberapa orang. Nyaba Lembur: Our Live In Experience (MEP #3)

  Hello! So I’m here again to tell my experience when I went on the Live in with my class last May. So, it was a 2 day experience in a village called Babakan Ranca in Southern Bandung. We had a preparation in class for around a week, where we packed our stuff and sorted out the clothes that would be most appropriate for living in a village, the stuff that was necessary and unnecessary, how to pack lightly and worked on our manners and Sundanese phrases. We left for the village on a Wednesday I think, and came back on a Friday. It was the 19 th of May when we went there. We got there on an  which was payed to drive us all the way to the village so we didn’t have to switch angkots   like we use to. I think it was around 2 hours driving, with us stopping twice, once was when Jojo had to pee and when Tia was feeling nausea (Tia and Jojo were on different  angkots ). Mid Semester Exhibition

For the last three days, Anjasmoro, Malabar and Sinabung has been busy coordinating a mid-semester exhibition and also a presentation on our newly finished projects.  Anjasmoro and Malabar presented their projects in groups, whilst Sinabung had a private presentation with Kakak about their learning process. Anjasmoro presented their projects in a short video of each of them narrating problems in Bandung that are sensed with our mouth, our nose, our ears, our eyes and our hands. They narrated it with the help of wooden cubes that are covered in illustrations of the problems they encountered. As they are quite new to presentating in front of many people, I can sense that the majority of them were still very timid and shy while presentating, whilst I could see some of them excelling and confidently explaining their videos.
